This deluxe version of I, Pando is presented in a three section tray. One tray holds an essay written in the form of an autobiography of Pando, one of the largest and oldest organisms on earth. This essay presents in a map fold structure. In addition to the essay, the two outer components have original haiku's and aspen specimens encapsulated in mica.
Another tray holds, in a leather covered pamphlet binding, another essay about Pando. This pamphlet rests on top of aspen leaf specimens preserved in epoxy resin. The third section holds an aspen branch suspended in a cast acrylic tube.
Bound into a five panel, relief printed, leather covered case.
