Flight is one of many works created by the collaborative collective of Heidi Zednik and Alicia Bailey (aka Spondere). Spondere was born of conversations, friendship, experimentation and art. To explain Spondere is to look at the whole - individual art projects, collaborations, movement and time.

Flight was created from the ingredients used in a multi-venue installation series called Conversations from the Underground. Starting with exchanges of materials, objects and ephemera from two specific locations (the basement of a Denver, Colorado home and the crawlspace of a home in Asheville, North Carolina) the artists created a series of installations and artworks, including Flight, a rigid page, meander book.
