A revised version of a book produced in 2000, Ab miniature compares the physiological workings of the heart (day and night, night and day, a pair of pumps works steadily inside our bodies) with Aubri Aleka Keleman’s poem “Suggestions for Improving the Heart and Its Workings” The trouble comes in its shape, its obvious desire to split in two.) This version of Ab is color xerox from original watercolors on Mohawk superfine text using a modified board binding with open spine. Covers are board covered with laser printed/handpainted title and illustration on paper made by Ray Tomasso; endpapers hand-marbled by Pamela Smith.
