About this piece:

Whether in my yard, walking around Denver’s urban neighborhoods or camping at higher elevations, I seem always to find treasures worthy of bringing back to the studio. This book includes some of the many finds of summer 2019. The structure is a series of boxy pages hinged in an alternating accordion.

wood, mica, HM paper, elk teeth, butterfly, moth, insect and plant specimens, bird shell fragments, cast acrylic, epoxy resin.
