In archival science, a fonds is the aggregation of documents that originate from the same source. A fonds is distinguished from a collection through its organic nature, a natural accumulation, in this case, by an individual (myself), as a byproduct of day-to-day activities. I think of the works in the Fonds series as a portable and tidy junk drawer; a seemingly random, but nonetheless specifically selected for any number of personal criteria. collection of small things.

Fond Volume 1 includes bits of ephemera that bear little relation to one another other than all were kept over many decades, some by multiple generations.
