Based on the wire-edge binding forms developed by book engineer and designer Daniel Kelm, this flexible form can be easily adapted to books with varying page, and shape sizes that can open in multiple directions. Students will create a six-panel book that can alternatively fold into a cube and a four-panel triangular shape book that can display either flat or as a pyramid.
NOTE: Advance registration required. Registration is through Art Students League of Denver. The fee is $57.50 for ASLD members and $72.50 for non-members (including materials); the workshop hours are 10am-3pm on February 17.
