About this piece:

Made in the autumn, soon after a class with Suzanne Moore on gilding on paper, and preparing for teaching a workshop series on the Criss Cross Binding, this book combines hand-painted words with gold and silver gilding on a color field with fall’s colors – green not yet absent, the red of changing undergrowth, the golden of leaves falling to the ground.

Eight panel accordion, with last two pages affixed to the inside covers of a Criss Cross (aka Secret Belgian Binding) binding.
