About this piece:
An almost wordless book using no words other than the handwritten text on the re-purposed drafting mylar used to create translucent sleeves. The sleeves contain the pages, each held in place by friction allowing removal and re-arrangement of the pages.. A guide to assembling the images in the order I intended is created with a system of holes and foil shapes.
The sleeves are mounted on to a concertina spine of tinted tyvek.
Housed in a custom drop spine box.
Materials:
mylar, oil, graphite, paper, ink, tyvek, metal leaf, book board, marbled paper, mica
